Keeping alive the memories of Helen Call

keeping alive the Memory of Helen Elizabeth Pay Call

tonight (Sat Jan 7)
while the Grandkids were here--we talked about Grandma Helen and how wonderful of a person she is.
the kids sat on the blanket and we talked of stories of her, for example --
*how she used to read the book, where the Red fern Grows --outloud to her kids
*how she used to make bottled grape juice
*she served a mission--at a time when many men were being called to war--The Lord need her
*she was in the hospital having her 6th baby when that same weekend her husband was being called to be the stake pres. (by Mark E Petersen)
*she loved to laugh and giggle and one time on her mission --while rushing to get ready--she and her companion got the giggles
* how she and her sister were in two different hospitals but having babies --two days apart.

Yesterday--bryan and I reflected how it was Jan 6--also a fri --that marked a Fri night 45 years ago Jan 6--When the terrible accident took place in Provo canyon--and Helen was called home to heaven. We always want to keep her memory and attributes alive in our hearts, and be with her someday.
