You may have noticed I get excited--I'm trying to be calm as I post this but having number 10 and 11 grandbabies join the family is an over whelming joy--the nurse in Hayley's room said I've never seen a family quite so excited for a baby is this your first grand baby?  no my eleventh I said.  cool she said that you are still so thrilled with each one.  that I am

Happy 32^nd birthday—We know from the time we met you that you brought so much happiness to Hayley we-- surely hope this coming year together with she and the baby are happy days. We are glad that you were born and for the life you've led

its a great celebration of many things and many memories and qualities..you are nice –to bear with us as we write a few of the memories and shared experiences.

10-You are a good son to your mom and dad and to us as well.. it is nice to see you take them on little outings. We also have felt so included to come to your cabin etc

9- you work at your job, projects, assignments, cases, and more than we know hours on end and still have time for the important things in life and the important people namely Hayley.

8-You make Hayley feel protected, provided for and just happy. When she was in so much pain this last year...Her first request..was that she wanted you there with her.

7-you team up to play a mean game of horse shoes in the back yard—Bryan sr. is going to build a pit—so we'll have to play it some time soon.

6- you go out of your way to open the car door for Hayley and take her on fun outings –dates, and trips.

5- you serve faithfully in your ward callings and priestood duties and share the gospel in your dailey mannerisms.

4-You remember funny lines –or come up with funny quips—in conversations

3-you talk to the young and the old—both in formal and family situations, you can tell your family you grew up in –really looks to you..as do we.

2-You are an all around wonderful person,,doing the best you can—and being down to earth and doing day to day stuff in a day to day way—even though your life is complex— with presentations and challenging medical cases. you make it look—like not a big deal

1- you can always count on you to appreciation the stuff we cook or serve..you compliment on the little things..and we can live on a compliment for quite sometime. (:

Dear Megan happy 6^th Birthday

you are a sweetheart and  we just want to remind you again and again how dear you are to each of us. So here goes—we drove out to Iowa to see you shortly after your arrival home from the hospital and we've cherished you from that day till this.

10- You have this wonderful way of greeting us –like you are excited to see us

9- you are a trier  What I mean is: we have watched you at the swimming pool—pull yourself up on steps and use super   strength to do that. You also tip toe around in the water

8-you like bean dip and other dill dips and so do we ! So  thanks for teaching us to like that.

7-you like the movies that we like to watch..for example The Other side of Heaven

6-You have a great voice and sing along with songs on the radio and Kareoke. And sing with expression.,

5- we like playing store with you when you set things up on the hutch and pretend to let us buy a variety of things.

4-You are patient to let others carry you and and you are trusting that they will not drop you or let you fall. You are patient in waiting for the resurrection and you talk of that great day with conviction and testimony

3-you are a light to others...when they (and we ) see your cheerfulness –it is contagious.

2-when you come over and we have a jump on the trampoline in the back yard and you giggle that is about the best part of the day. Also helping you pick flowers

*10-love that you don't mind being put on the spot to play us tune on the piano from time to time. Also thanks for playing on FHE

9-love that you've shown your kids its ok to do little –fun –silly things for talent time in FHE --I love when you come out with hogan doing some little voice with a army figurine or some just funny skit

*8- you are always learning something new..making or baking or a skill to do with exercise, or improve your exercise technique (for example learning to swim and breath a certain way)

7 -you find joy in the journey—such as the journey of your competition coming up on your birthday—you have a mind set –to enjoy it and come what may.

6- you are nice to look for a need and do—thanks for the things you've seen that we need and pitch in to give us a hand, with our little tasks at hand.

Happy birthday Hayley

Dear Hayley,
How dear you are to us and how much we have looked forward to celebrating your great 26th year.  We've put so much of our energy re-telling the story of getting here that I now want to put a focus on the joy that you've brought to us.  and just for the re-cord--we retell the story because we know it was a tender mercy that the pregnancy went so well--but in hind sight...really the Story of your life is the best part.
Top ten:
10-  love that you love kids and that you are so cute to the kids in this family always making them feel great--your own baby is sure to feel of that love and acceptance *how lucky she'll be.
9- just like I say at the end of most all my top ten--You are a wonderful , cheerful, all around nice lady. 
*8-  you find humor in situations...you laugh at yourself and look for the humor in strange--day to day mishaps
& 7- well you are a great example of reading your scriptures -going to the temple -and cherishing sacred things and experiences.
6-  you make all ages and all people in different walks of life feel --happy to be themselves. I saw this in your interaction of those you taught exercise to and I feel that you do that for me and dad too
5-  you take time to go places with your sweetie and make him feel that he is the world to you (cause he is ) but still you make him feel like you adore him.
4-you are great at sticking to things you set out to do.  This past year you ran your 'own' 1/2 marathon
how many people can say that they've done that>?? we thought that was admirable.  love that you did what you set out to do
3-sincere comes to mind...when you tell someone something that is the conversation --sincerity always abounds.  People (including us--especially us ) like to hear what you have to say and feel.
2-you make the day brighter or the outing brighter when you are there.
1-you have lived a life that your sweet daughter can set as a model in her own life.  You follow the guides of the scriptures and of the gospel  you show love and we love ya back and Happy Birthday.!

enjoyed eating out

you've heard Bryan tell the joke --when I say, let's eat out,,,he quips  'where out on the deck"?  and so it was last Sunday we got to eat out on the deck and it was warm and we set up other tables under the apple tree and it was cool but not cold and a part of me thought--Yes , yes , yes....we made it through another winter--I think I'm going to be okay now. 
it was also fun getting a jump start celebrating mothers day and it was very fun to celebrate birthdays

April showers--spring break

April showers did bring May flowers I have really enjoyed the beauty of the flowers this spring.  I don't mind the rain when its still clears off and leaves part of the day nice.  during my spring break from school I was able to get out and do walking and went to Thanksgiving point==love the flowers there.  love going to see the temple windows for future temples being assembled in a workshop glass museum there.  nancy and her kids also watched a man blow glass then the older girls worked there own hot glass into  flowers  (glass flowers) who knew hot 'sand' could be soooo pretty

love going to gardens

I love planting gardens I love going to gardens --had a chance to go to red Butte garden this spring
had a chance to work with dad and Mayley and Hunter planting peas and digging up our garden dirt.

Easter

Easter came early this year (way way ) back at the end of March.
I was glad we could have our dinner in the first part of April and reflect on Easter with our family around for a short devotional of a song.  Give said the little stream.  A  testimony from dad and I that Yes --There is a Father in Heaven.  We do have a Savior Jesus Christ.  He did give his life for us.  But the atonement brings joy now in this life.  He  wants us to be happy and one day we will all resurrect and be in a perfect body.  Dad also shared how important family is and how much he loves his Savior Jesus Christ and what he did for each of us.  He bore testimony that Jesus Loves us all.

womens conference

enjoyed the time I spent on BYU-Provo campus while attending women's conference.  it was such a wonderful time--thinking of when I attended there and thinking about the things I learned these last few visits there as I've attended classes for the church sponsored womens conference.  Brianne went with me.  enjoyed that shared time and also enjoy the talks.  Most favorite  Elder Eyring. 

Soccer

It is always a treat to sit and watch the grandkids play soccer.  One of Bryan's and mine most favorite pastime.  talking on the phone with grandkids is another and walking along with the grandkids hearing them say funny things is another.  we started a jar with papers containing cute things the grandkids say either on the phone or to us or to their family.  any contributions.?
