Fri we had some time to go through American Fork canyon and planned to go all the way to the Alpine scenic route and over to Cascade springs, and enjoy this beautiful late fall. Our plans were shifted as the gate over part of the route was closed--but we still ate lunch in the mountains and it was beautiful.. and it was a beautiful drive up as far as Timpanogus cave.
