at temple when Ryan was sealed

that was a fun day being at the SLC temple and watching Ryan Cahill being sealed to his parents
Patricks dad was the sealer. interestingly enough years ago when the revelation came for all worthy male memembers to recieve the Preistood Patricks dad was working closely with Pres Kimball. Some of the things Patricks dad said were that the sealing of child to parent is to him one of the grandest of temple blessings. He also noted that It was a long awaited and joyful day.

We may not have it all together...

this is how dad and I feel about the family...thanks for all you do. Looking forward to the time we can spend together here in a bit down the road.

Sorry I keep using this same group of family pictures for all the family quotes I post but its the picture with the most of us in it...so hows about a new picture in Dec. on the beach (temple beach) or in front of the Hawaii temple? I was hoping for may high noon on the Sunday. Just a hope...I am open to times..and places

geneology kick

so dad and I are on this geneology kick we've been reading and reading together a book about Anson..

its very interesting. then we went to the cementary in Bountiful on Oct 12 and took these pictures of the cementery marker for Anson it list some of the communities he helped settle. Little did he know one of he posterity would be living in Tooele. (: I didn't show it but there were also markers for the 5 headstones of his wives I just posted the one for

Margaretta Call since she is the 3rd wife and the one dad's line comes through.

Hayley goes skydiving

Hayley told us about her skydiving adventure soon after she hit the ground after jumping --we thought it was great that she did it, She told us after the fact as she wanted to save us the worry. Way to go Hayley, and Will. You did it. We did noticed something different about you --you sail! I mean you skydive!!! (:

I tried my hand at painting a witch for decoration--hum...so here she is to say happy halloween

I based it off a drawing that Nancy embroydered (spelling) so its a new one for me- it was a fun one to try though. hope everyone sends me pics of the little kids dressed up...I'm going to keep cooking these scones for the neighborhood kids every year. I guess. we'll have to make

You know how dad and I love raspberries...well look at these giant berries I bagged at the church cannery today. I don't know if you can tell from the picture but they are huge. Hurry home to help us eat them.! (:

dad's missionary reunion

Hi family--

dad and I went to his missionary reunion as I told you. It happen to fall on my birthday but was a great way to celebrate I love the Japanese food. I love the things that we heard and felt there;

one thing there was some very beautiful music played. A song some of the Elders made up was sung in Japanese--we have a cd of it. and the words to it in Japanese. It was about finding happiness in the family and in the gospel.. then a slide show and then.

His Pres told how the call came and how it changed their lives. They were influencial on so many missionaries. As were your presidents for those of you who served missions. I unfortutenately don't have a pic with dad and his pres. but I wish I did. yikes --but here are a few other pics from the evening of Oct 5th (including me with a cheesey shot by the birthday sign before we left to go to the reunion) love mom
