my little collection is growing

my collection of magnets has really grown over the years.  I don't even care that I haven't been there personally  --that you all went is enough for me  and that I went to some is a dream come true  --who would have ever guessed collectively we would have such opportunities..I can't get over it.

on a cooking binge

we watched a kids movie about cooking and now I just feel like cooking  the pictures don't do it justice but both the scrimp and peanut butter cookies were pretty tasty

enjoyed helping the Jacob family move

conference weekend

I enjoyed conference weekend I enjoyed hearing the boys from our stake sing Sat night I enjoyed being around my family  I enjoyed ALL of the talks

*I love being 55 years old..life has only gotten better and better with each birthday--I wrote in my jounal, that I was so grateful to have been born to such wonderful parents.  they are the most faithful people I have ever known in my mortal life.
  I am thankful for my brothers and sisters --I am thankful for my own family--Bryan and all our kids and grandkids
   Like  a famous baseball player once said.  I am the luckiest person alive --I have to  copy his sentiment (actually what Lou said was I am the luckiest man alive) but I had to tweak it a smidge.

I love having been born in the fall season--my favorite..

This little girl had a birthday  this one sitting here...Father in Heaven bless her throughout the coming year.
*You are such a good big sister and example in your family.  You do what you can to help your mom
*You are exact in your school work, and dance moves, tumbling moves, hand writing, flute playing
* You try new things  you are willing to join track teams, try out for dance parts and try things at school.
* you are great at laughing and seeing the sunny side of life, and doing funny skits like making animal costumes with Adrianna and you being the front of the animal and she being the back half
*you make us (grandpa and I happy ) when you call and say you are coming over to hang out at our house.
* you helped us bottle peaches this past summer and made it a fun game to get done before a certain time.  You work hard and efficient and are willing to work to earn money for things you  would like.
* you are great at entertaining and help the younger cousins make up skits for Sunday afternoon, family time on the family dinners and on Christmas eve.  and when you are home hanging around.
* you are nice to other people and girls at school who need a friend, and a friend to your own brother and sisters
* you are sweet and kind and follow the promptings of the Holy Ghost and dress modestly and use a nice tone of voice and have the countenance of a follow of Christ.
* you are an all around wonderful person and we are so VERY glad that you were born to your family so we could enjoy your sweetness in the mortal life
