great day for counting your blessings

The Message by the first presidency in the Ensign this month is truly and (not mechanically) thanking our Father in Heaven.  I'm going to do that.  And on the top of my list I am going to thank him for my family.

8 you are nice to your brothers and sisters and help them get ready for trips (like to bear lake and payson)
7 you are nice to let us come watch you in school programs and dance and piano stuff
6  you are good at so many things  singing, dance soccer, piano just  to name a few
5  you are funny --you laugh at things when they are funny
4 you are determined and patient  like waiting for spotty just so you could give him a ride on the launcher.

2 you make an effort to include others at primary--at school at home at family stuff--you take time to listen to people..(like how you visited with grandma Lynda's brothers and sister at Lucy's baby blessing)
1 you are an all around wonderful person and we don't know what we would do without you..our lives would surely be lacking--if you weren't a part of it--thanks for being YOU..glad Heavenly father sent you to this clan

unexpected visitors

what a pleasant surprise it was to open the door and find  Liam Cornelius and his little boy Ezra on our front porch--we had a great visit together and then sent them on their way back to their hotel  it was a  great time

that is how my heart has been feeling lately.  Even with some ups and downs of life and such...I felt ever so grateful for my family this past month and the time that we have been able to spend together either at You guy's homes or at outings in Alaska or at outing at Payson lakes  we love you for taking time to share time with us--it is the bright spot among all our joys in life.
